From Varsity Athlete to Sports Physio

Teala grew up in sports. She earned the Jimmie Condon Athletic Scholarship as a student-athlete at the University of Alberta while completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology, alongside academic recognition for student-athlete excellence. That foundation in training and recovery shaped how she thinks about rehab.

Three Years of UK Private Practice

Teala spent three years building her clinical foundation in private musculoskeletal physiotherapy across the UK. Her caseload ranged from acute sports injuries to long-standing pain, alongside medico-legal assessments and detailed insurance reporting. Promotion through her clinic's banding system reflected the consistency of her outcomes.

Vestibular, Concussion, and Sport Rehab

Teala has completed advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, sports massage, and acupuncture foundations. Her practice covers active adults and athletes dealing with sports injuries, post-concussion symptoms, dizziness and balance issues, and ongoing musculoskeletal complaints.

Back in Canada, Now at Forza

After her years in the UK, Teala returned to Canada and joined the Forza team in Vancouver. Her approach blends thorough assessment, progressive exercise, and clear communication, with particular focus on patients returning to sport, training, or active daily life.
