Offering Direct Billing to All Major Insurance Providers in BC
Most extended health plans in BC cover physiotherapy. At Forza, we offer direct billing to all major insurance providers. Feel free to contact us if you’d like to double-check, along with your plan provider, to ensure they allow direct billing.

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?
No, you do not need a referral to book physiotherapy at Forza.
Some extended health plans require one for reimbursement, so check your policy first.
If you are unsure, contact us and we will help you confirm what your plan needs.
Do you offer direct billing to extended health insurance?
Yes, we direct-bill most major extended health insurers in BC.
Bring your plan details to your first visit and we will submit claims where your provider allows.
Coverage varies, so confirm your physiotherapy, massage, or dietetics benefits with your insurer.
Do you bill ICBC or WorkSafeBC?
Not at this time. Forza does not direct-bill ICBC or WorkSafeBC.
You can book as a private patient and pay for your sessions directly, and submit the receipts for reimbursement.
For a vehicle or workplace claim, contact us first and we will explain your options.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first visit is a full one-on-one assessment with your practitioner.
They take your history, screen your movement, and run testing where useful, including VALD.
You leave with a clear explanation and a structured plan. Most first visits run either 45 or 60 minutes.
Do you only treat athletes?
No. Forza treats people of all activity levels and goals.
We work with weekend warriors, desk workers, new parents, and anyone in pain.
Our active, exercise-based care is tailored to your goals and starting point.
