Meet the Team

  • Marcel moved to Canada in 2020 after obtaining his Master's in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in the UK in 2018.

Marcel enjoys working with people of all ages and from all walks of life and specializes in treating low back pain and injuries of the hip, knee, and ankle. As an Olympic weightlifter himself, Marcel has a special interest in working with strength athletes and people who are interested in strength training.

He combines his expertise in exercise with his hands-on skills to work with clients to deliver effective, meaningful treatment. Communication is at the heart of Marcel’s practice, and he strives to meet his clients where they’re at and help them find the path for where they want to go.

Marcel knows how important it is to have a plan. Every client will receive a tailored treatment plan following their session, as well as clear and objective measurements to benchmark their success. Clients will have direct message access to Marcel throughout their treatment period, so any unanswered questions or concerns can be addressed.

Marcel is also a lecturer at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy where he teaches orthopedic pathology.

  • Justin grew up in the Tri-cities of British Columbia and enjoyed an upbringing that revolved around community and sport. He realized from a young age he wanted to turn the things he loves most into a career and that is exactly what he set out to do. He went on to study Kinesiology – Exercise Science at the University of the Fraser Valley and from there travelled to Australia to complete a Master's in Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. Before returning home, he stayed and worked across Australia and continued his education from experts in the field.

Justin believes in long-term athlete development, and health promotion and that exercise is medicine. Providing education to the public, reducing the risk of injury and bridging the gap between acute injury management and Return to Sport is what he does best. He says “The recipe for success in rehabilitation is a strong therapist-patient relationship that thrives on communication + education, managing pain and most importantly providing individualized exercise prescription through a comprehensive assessment".

Justin enjoys working with people from all walks of life who are motivated to reach their goals. Particularly his heart lies with soccer and he still identifies with the sport. In his free time, he likes to get outdoors with friends to hike and play tennis and pickleball to keep fit and keep life interesting. So if you are an overhead athlete (swimmer, Olympic weightlifter, volleyball player, baseball player etc) or in a running and kicking sport come to see him to understand how you can perform at your best and reduce your risk of the most common injuries in your sport.
